A couple days ago, I opened the back door and stepped on a dead rat. I was wearing slippers and I’m grateful my dog(s) left it outside.

Ha! Cats— what can you do?

Mine bring in live lizards and then turn them loose in the house.

It’s a love token. You should praise your cat, and not let it see you put it in the trash. I’ve been presented with birds, both live and dead, mice, and several live bats. Which is one reason why I am trying to never let my new kitten go outside ever.

What are you complaining about. It’s not like it’s still alive.
