Suddenly the Hartlepool Canal has transformed itself into the Swanee River in Florida, with its jumping sturgeons.

Boaters, tubers, and kayakers on the Swanee have been seriously injured and a 5-year-old girl was killed by these large leaping fish. They have had to post signs on the river warning people about the sturgeon.

He’s just tryin’ to get the right angle on it to catch it.

The first time he lands a big one and he scarpers.
