You mean there’s actually some connection between Milne’s “Winnie-the-Pooh” and that “Disney-the-Pooh” garbage? Huh. You learn something new every day.
“Ruben” rolls a bunch of strikes again! (I say “Ruben” because I found out to my horror/interest that that’s actually his pen name.) And I heard that it is actually true that Disney will send people out to murder you if you infringe on their copyrights.
Rube’s in big trouble. He drew Mickey Mouse, er, to protect myself, I’ll call him, um, Ralph the Mouse. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Ralph the Mouse. Disney will sue anybody that might infringe on their property, no matter how “fringey” the infringement might be.
During the age of the “underground comics” in the 60’s (think Robert Crumb) an artist that drew a strip named “Mickey Rat” (no longer remember his or her name). He/She got sued by Disney, even tho there was only a slight artistic resemblance between the 2 characters. The infringement was based on the use of the name, “Mickey.”
Disney may cast itself as family-friendly, but deep down they are ruthless. AKA, that’s why I changed the Mouse’s name in my remarks. I don’t want to get sued for copyright infringement for using Its name without permission. BTW Disney’s original name for Mickey was going to be Mickey, the Irish Mouse. That was too offensive, even for those times.

I see Teen Yoda has gone to the snark side (and shouldn’t that be “A bag of plythorans, you should eat, Mando”)?

I bet that dinosaur would have survived if he had only known it wasn’t the start of a new decade.

Looks like “Hilarious, Really Funny Comix” has a finale every day. So does “Rex’s New Year.”

The “Hilarious . . .” strip made me think of “Bambi Meets Godzilla.”

I think ol’ Mando would be dead and buried from old age by the time Baby Yoda would reach puberty.

The top strip reminds me of the classic short animation “Bambi meets Godzilla.”
