Flo sure can never have a pleasant social visit without Andy (vocally) asking the visitors to leave.

@ Linguist Today’s Strip IS funny , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp is a very bad host , being in a hurry to get rid of his visitors , he encourages them to leave in a very unsocial way , poor Flo is flabergasted :o) my avatar is of the car we own today a Hyundai i20 , I hate it that it is smarter than me and tries to boss me around :o{ , how is your day coming along my old younger friend? our day should be busy but calm I hope.have a nice day Cappers past and present

Not only is Andy getting them out of his house now but also making sure they never come back.

Flo’s reaction is priceless. She’s as flabbergasted as the guests are — and you just know she’s going to give Andy hell for this one!

I hate when that happens!

If you have ever seen a bed with the tall posts at each corner and the sort of pineapple things on the top of each post, they are to signal guests it is time to leave. The host would remove one of the pineapple thingies and that was a non confrontational signal it was time to leave.

There’s the door, what’s your hurry????

They obviously didn’t show up with beer.

You know Andy, there’s solution for this situation more to your liking, go to the pub.

…and in 6 minutes the coats will ignite

Similar but just different enough from the classic “Anything I can get you? Coffee, Tea, Coats, Hats?”

Not exactly the most social of people.

We saw Andy do something similar to this recently to some other house guests.

Andy is only sociable with people who will give him money or buy him drinks.

How come he looks so sober today, seems like he hasn’t visited the pub yet?

Totally Andy when he and Flo have guest and this is just funny.

I think Andy attained a new level of rudeness. Poor Flo.

Be polite, Andy. Just yawn and stretch and say, “Well, Flo, I guess I’ll go to bed so the company can go home.”
