The little Fink needs to take up skating, skiing, tobogganing; and you can lie in the tall grass without worry of ticks.
Just having a thankful spirit allows one to appreciate what they have and not go looking for more, more, more!

There are times i might step outside at night, just to post a letter or get something from the car, and I’m struck by the beauty of it all. The moon in the clouds. or the stars over head or just a breeze

Amen – Here in Portland, Oregon it has been virtually non stop rain for the last 2 months; and it really does not show any sign of stopping…..

I thought the little things were snowflakes. It slushed here in Oklahoma.
Down here in the east we would appreciate the snowfall in this season. The fink may be in the colder areas of the globe.
Could someone give geographical location of the fink empire?
We’re having a real cold snap and as usual, we have no snow to show for it, just the biting cold.
Makes drinking a warm cup of coffee inside a Starbucks all the more enjoyable.
