I thought that “Life” was a board game. I guess the meaning of it is to win.

Tom Lehrer once told the story of a friend Henr3y who became a philosopher who once said.

“Life is like a sewer, what you get out of it depends on what you put in.”

Just show him Monty Python’s dissertation on The Meaning of Life…they covered it. (Mind the fat glutton scene.)

Now, here’s the meaning of life. M-hmm. Well, it’s nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.

If meaning = purpose, I like my dad’s saying: “The purpose of life is to do as much good and as little harm as possible, and have fun while doing it.”
