Is this gag really worth an entire arc?

He should’ve still let her thru first.

He used courtesy to cut in front. His words betrayed by his action. Now there’s actually a reason to frown.

The assist is there to ease access for EVERYONE. Stop treating it as if it’s thoughtful and nice toward people in need: elderly or short persons or wheelchair users are just people that are hindered by needles hurdles commonly there there far to often because of old conventions. Ged rid of the ostacles and profit from it when you have a big load in your hands, need crutches for a while, keep clean hands, and anytime else, too.

Stop patronizing handycapped as helpless or in need of protection. Get rid of barriers for everyone instead.

well at least he got the door open for her since her arms are holding occupied even tho he went ahead of her.

Any courtesy, however small, is to be appreciated.

Considering the elderly ladies response, my feeling would be to let the old bat fend for herself next time.
