I just want new jeans that look better than the ones I am replacing, not worse. When I see the prices in Lane Bryant for jeans that are so ripped to shreds that my worn out jeans look better, I just walk out and head for the thrift store.

In fact, designer labels tend to discourage — they are usually made for designer shapes, not post-children or gravity-induced shapes.
