I finally finished an online glossary (or the first version of it, anyway) for a game a like. XD Now to get to the point where I actually share it with fellow players. =D;
We got thru a whole day without our elderly senile dog pooping or peeing inside….just outside the door on the welcome mat counts, right? I think I am getting better at reading his body language and I finally broke down and bought some doggy diapers in case we ever leave the house again for longer than an hour.
My college student daughter and her two cats moved back in with us due to COVID-19, one of her cats is starting to get along with one of my three cats. She’s still not sure about the dogs.
My foster dog has gained so much confidence this past year that he struts around, head up, tail wagging happily, all the time.Not like the terrified, injured, fear biter I was brought two years ago.Love and patience people, love and patience. And never give up.
It is amazing how someone can turn around when they are given unconditional love, security that nobody will ever hurt them again, and the patience while they have a chance to learn.
Adopt, don’t shop. Given the chance, a shelter dog will be the best friend you have ever had <3
The Coronavirus has given me uninterrupted time to go thorugh files, pitch, and organize. Amazing how much I had forgotten about and find not needed. Such a good feeling to eliminate excess.
I put the finishing touches on my WiFi extender. Now my next-door neighbor/fellow geek (who’s had her puter ethernetted in my spare room) & I both have Teh Innert00bz™ & can self-quarantine if need be. (I’m 66 with diabetes & she has asthma that occasionally lands her in the ER, so it’s a major concern for us both, especially since there’s a suspected-but-so-far-unconfirmed case of COVID-19 in the building.)
So…when you get a new piece of tech that looks like a flying saucer, doesn’t it just make sense to give it a cow to suck up?
My wife’s old flip phone died and she wanted to upgrade to a smart phone. She’s very smart but no technically savvy. I was able to get her up and running and now she even has a word game on it.
I have been losing weight since last April that is my win. Been heavy since eighth grade when I was put on medicine for what the school thought I had ADD. Have had trouble losing it in the past. I guess with my mother dying in July I don’t snack as much as I use to or drink a lot of Pepsi. I want to get done below 200 pounds. From last April I weighed 280 and now I am down to 250 from when I was weighed last month at the doctors.
I pushed through my veho-ombrophobia (fear of driving in the rain) long enough to get to the grocery store and back despite heavy rain. When I got there many shelves were bare, but I found most of what I needed.
I called my best friend from high school (Class of ’66) who lives in another state. So we entertained each other for awhile about how our kids keep calling and asking 1) if we feel okay, 2) have we gone out at all, and 3) do we need anything! We are blessed with caring children!
