Did Ms. Wedell even get her cassette back? Must’ve cost a fortune (in Swedish krona).

In Aunty Acid yesterday I discovered that an American bobby-pin doesn’t have a point and is a hair-clip or hair-grip in English…

    Today I discover that an American clothes-pin doesn’t have a point and is a clothes-peg in English…

I love learning about foreign cultures…

Wella Stedell Did she claim ownership of the cassette?

Cack W. Jornwell Don’t take that for granite?

Take care and may God bless.

I’m impressed with the clothes pin. Granite is not that easy to carve.

Google search “jack crowell grave stone” to see Jack’s grave stone. When I initially looked at the drawing it looked like it could almost be a functioning clothespin, but the gap between the two halves behind the spring is really just solid granite that’s recessed and in shadow. On closer examination of the drawing and compared to other pics on the interwebs, it’s a pretty subtle detail that I see now…

I had thought the clothespin would have been in this cemetary https://vermonter.com/hope-cemetery/

Mix tape? Might have to explain that to a few of the younger readers.

I wonder how many people DON’T try to push open that clothespin?

Much to my surprise, Jack W Crowell (and his grave) is not listed in findagrave.com

That’s not a perfectly shaped heart pattern, that’s the shape people use to represent an actual heart.

American English is weird. We drive on a parkway, and park on a driveway. Go figure.

That cow is so cute. now let’s shoot her in the brain with a passive bolt gun so we can dismember her and eat her flesh.
