Our neighbor got us some when she went shopping. She is such an angel. We are lucky to live where we do as āthe kidsā we call them as they are young and have 2 cute girls and when all this happened I saw them outside and they said if you need anything let us know. Well we did Fellippe went to the grocery store for us and got most of it except a one of the loaves of bread, no toilet paper and a different ice cream but still a good one. So they love pizza and I said to my hubby we will make them a pizza. Now to get him to do it as with my bad left hand now I wouldnāt be able to do the kneading of the dough.
This is sort of what the preppers live for. I wonder if theyāre using their stocks or if they went out and stocked up again. As Iām not a hoarder Iām not sure of the protocol. Makes you think though.
Eno has more than enough TP to supply all the jurors + alternates, the judges, baillifs, court officers, court employees, defendants, witnesses, lawyers and gallery. Oh, letās not forget Pizza deliverers. Fang can help deliver. Just sayinā.
n 2017, the White Houseās National Security Council Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense survived the transition intact. Its mission was the same as when the Obama administration established it after the Ebola epidemic of 2014: to do everything possible within the vast powers and resources of the U.S. government to prepare for the next disease outbreak and prevent it from becoming an epidemic or pandemic. One year later, the White House dissolved the office, leaving the country less prepared for pandemics like covid-19.The U.S. governmentās slow and inadequate response to the new coronavirus underscores the need for organized, accountable leadership to prepare for and respond to pandemic threats. In a health security crisis, speed is essential. When this new coronavirus emerged, there was no clear White House-led structure to oversee our response, and we lost valuable time. Health systems are struggling to test patients and keep pace with growing caseloads. The specter of rapid community transmission and exponential growth is real and daunting. The job of a White House pandemics office would have been to get ahead: to accelerate the response, empower experts, anticipate failures, and act quickly and transparently to solve problems. Itās impossible to assess the full impact of the 2018 decision to disband the White House office responsible for this work, but it is clear that eliminating the office has contributed to the federal governmentās sluggish domestic response. Whatās especially concerning about the absence of this office today is that it was originally set up because a previous epidemic made the need for it quite clear. When asked about the slow roll-out of coronavirus tests in the U.S. on March 13, President Trump responded, āI donāt take responsibility at all.ā Trump is not just responsible for it. He owns it The Trump Plague is not just his responsibility. Itās his fault.
Yesterday, I saw a woman in my neighborhood walking from her car with a package of what appeared to be 24 rolls of toilet paper. And I estimated that one pack would last me from three to four ā¦ years.

Is that enough? It does make it rough on those who may really need it and other empty shelf items.

I remember Johnny Carsonās joke about some stores having a shortage of toilet paper in 1973. The herd never thinks or learns.

Mother to complaining children āShut up and eat your toilet paper!ā

Do you know why they are hoarding toilet paper? Because when someone sneezes, ten people shit their pants. Get a grip people.
