Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
According to the on-line archive, this is the first appearance of Shawna-Marie Verano. Hi, Shawna-Marie. Welcome to the comic strip! See you again in 5 years.
My daughter confessed to me that she always looked for me in the audience when she’s in chorus, because I would always “sing” along (just mouthing…I don’t disturb the rest of the audience) and it helped her remember the words.
As a school principal, I’m always amazed at the bottom feeder parents who will come to a school event such as graduation or concert, and hoot, whistle, and holler like it’s a baseball game. No wonder some of the kids behave poorly at school.
Brings back memories of my kids’ elementary school concerts and that parent obstructing everyone’s view not only with waving but also with videographing…

She should have brought a “JOHN 3:16” sign to wave.

Excuse me ma’am, you’re blocking the stage with your annoying waving.

I’ve noticed that we are often embarrassed by others when we are proud of ourselves.

I was always more nervous about performing when I knew that my family was in the audience. I always thought that they were my toughest critics.

A very true hommage to that parent…

There appears to be a cyclops sitting behind Shawna-Marie.

Parents like that drive me nuts. It’s rude, irritating, and selfish.
