He’s going to be pretty shaken up after this experience.

That brings back memories of grade eight graduation dance. Only the 8 balls are far politer.

It figures. Balls usually hang together in pairs. Any others showing up should practice social distancing.

My 8-ball has been broken for 5-decades. Bad luck is better than no luck at all.

Reminds of a girl I knew in my youth. She was a waitress in a club a band I worked for worked regularly, and was an absolute smokeshow; always wore a button that said “Yes, I do – but not with you!”

Later that night he came back with a cue stick. The police are looking for him.

I could not find a good answer to the question of why 8-balls in particular got the magic touch.
