Pooh had pooh-poohed honey as he grew older and shaggier, and he longed for filet of fish on which he was hooked. But the scales were tipped against him. Drat! He hated getting wet, so he just had to grin and bear it as he watched the trout (or was it a goldfish?—Pooh didn’t know) finish his dining dreams.

This seen could have painted less than a half mile behind my home. There’s a huge beaver damn still under construction, there’s fish in the stream, and there are bears back there. Of course right now everything is under three feet of snow.

From wiki P: Clifton Avon “Cliff” Edwards, nicknamed “Ukulele Ike”, was an American musician, singer and actor, who enjoyed considerable popularity in the 1920s and early 1930s, specializing in jazzy renditions of pop standards and novelty tunes. He had a number-one hit with “Singin’ in the Rain” in 1929. Let me add: Edwards voiced the character ‘Pinocchio’ in the Disney movie. As well a singing “when you wish upon a star”.
