Here in Boston, the shopping carts lock if they’re removed from supermarket parking lots.

In the 40 years I’ve been reading Peanuts I never knew Linus was a relief pitcher.

When did MLB relief pitchers get ferried in on a golf cart? Since I really started watching baseball in the 90’s they always ran in from the bullpen, usually out in right or left field or at least from deep along the first or third base lines (depending on if it was the home or visiting team).

In recent years, I’ve only seem one pitcher use the cart to get from the bullpen to the mound. Can’t remember who it was.

Charlie Brown is the one who is tired—probably from having to put all his clothes back on after every line drive. He ought to be the one to get to ride off to the locker room in the grocery cart.
