My wife made the decision to let her hair go gray a long time ago and she looks great!
Her concern is more with her nails than her hair.
I couldn’t put up with my hair getting long (a problem every 70-year-old man should have to face) so she trimmed it for me. She did a nice job. Even if she didn’t, like who is going to see me? I can always wear a hat when I make one of my well-planned raids to the outside world to pick up food. I feel like a hunter-gatherer at times.
She was able to help me. I doubt she’d want me doing her nails or cutting her hair.
What gets me is the hairdressers who say they should be an “essential service”. Guess what? You have your hands right ON your client. You are both inches away from each other. The client cannot wear a mask or face shield and still get her hair done. DUH!!!
Not obsessing with the news channels helps. Watch enough to stay informed and then work around the house, yard, read, do puzzles, watch good TV programs, engage with family members and pets, exercise, call and check on friends and family, do a project you’ve been wanting to get done, etc. Get out of your own head for a while. With so much to do and the tech available today, people that claim to be bored bore me.

Ever since November 9, 2016 I’ve aged 20 years in about four.

I imagine it’s because of the lack of hair dye and because beauty salons are closed.

I’ve never heard it claim to be linear.

Settle down. It’s not like you’re gonna dye.

Most of my wrinkles are around my mouth, so I’m fine with this wearing a mask thing.

My problem is the CoViD-19pounds I put on.

I always try to smile when looking in the mirror. It’s hard sometimes, but it makes me look better.

And quit lamenting over not being able to saturate your head with chemicals and embrace your gray, baby! ;-)

A lot of women are learning what their real hair color is, and they are not happy.
