It is upsetting but it is true that no matter where we go, if we don’t buy anything after a period of time, businesses wants us out! The same applies on the service industry, once you are done eating on a restaurant, they don’t want you to stay for too long so they can have the table ready for the next customer! It’s all about the money folks, I hate it, but it is what it is.
Speaking of the rights of “constumers,” there used to be a restaurant near my workplace with a sign reading “Restrooms are for costumers only.” I think that was an unintentional misspelling, but the restaurant was on the edge of the Dallas garment district, so I was never sure.
Worth a mention: today is October 20, and thus the birthday of one Desmond Fishman! (Oh, and his creator, some guy named “John Allison”.) Happy birthday, guys!
(And if you read Dinosaur Comics, today is also Ryan North’s birthday, as well as the birthday of T-Rex. So today is Awesome Webcomic Creators and Their Awesome Green Scaly Characters Day, or something?)
