Will’s right though. I was watching a programme recently where they were talking to a woman who spends more than £20,000.00 per year on her 2 Pomeranians. She says she does it because she’s a real dog lover and her dogs deserve it. She bought them toys that were really for small children like a little slide and a little car each. All I could think of was that some of that money could be given to a rescue shelter to help rescue dogs get what they really need like pay for their shelter, food and veterinary care. Her dogs could still be loved and have nice things given to them but she could give to dogs in need too.

Every year at Christmas time we put on our santa hats and head down to the shelter. Cat litter, dry and canned dog and cat food and of course, all of our old towels.

As I always say, I would step over the bleeding man in the street to save the dog.

    It is the Christmas spirit.

    Do it.

It doesn’t cost much and you help a lot of animals who need a home, through no fault of their own.

Thankfully I am seeing stories of animal shelters emptied out by adoptions in this difficult time. Such lovely news!

We don’t have dogs anymore, so we donate to shelters what we would have spent on food, treats, toys, groomers and vet trips. It helps many over just having one.

Looks like C-Kennel needs a “Economic Impact check.”

Most shelters stay afloat because of volunteers and donations, Will.

I just dropped off 25 pounds each of dog food and cat food as well as cat litter to my local shelter. I try to do that every couple of weeks.

Some of us send what we can but the need is so great and humans are so stingy. I am so sorry you suffer from our greed, cruelty, and arrogance.
