That vacuum must be as old as their car. Ancient, but back when they were made ( the vacuum, not Opal and Earl) they were made to last. Today’s appliances have built in obsolescence. They don’t last so you will have to replace everything every 4-5 years.
If that’s an old Kirby that Earl’s hoovering with, it’s worth its weight in dirt. Those upright vacuums were expensive new but worth every penny. They lasted forever and really sucked!
Yes Roscoe you did but it works for human’s too “sometimes”. I am lucky as my hubby doesn’t mind vacuuming and did it while I was bedridden for a year and a half. Even now that I can do it he will ask if me if I want him to do it today. I grew up with a mom and grandma who vacuumed every day. So for years I did too and then when I moved in with my hubby and 7 cats and a dog….we had to vacuum every day and my poor hubby sometimes 4 or 5 times since he came home during the day to cat fights and fur all over the living room.
