well if it were the 3rd Friday of the month around here, it would be pajama day.

We have all been there Red. There’s good news, your slippers rock!

ok, looks like Mom will be taking Red to school.

I haven’t heard “crud” in a very long time.

Gasp! Wake up Red! The bus is coming…..

Rover should have warned Red as he left the house. (Where was mom?)

Red you left your clothes there too!

Was his mother home when he left?

Wake up, Red! Cute house slippers, though. Also, he has that Alfalfa cowlick going!

Mom must still be on a Mother’s Day high to miss that.

I was a major player in a local arts support group for many years, and, when I decided to “retire,” the group gave me a big send-off, complete with the mayor, a plaque, and a local reporter. I’d somehow forgotten to change my “go out with the dog before going to the meeting” nasty, old Keds into nice dress shoes. They were a good example to point to and say something about how I had so many balls in the air I wasn’t paying enough attention to too many.

Likewise to Marilynn…when I was a little girl my family visited an old-fashioned boarding house on Long Island owned by a woman and her daughter and her daughter’s family. They had a little girl my age, who one morning asked me to go with her to some sort of recital being held in town. I was excited…I got dressed in a hurry and rushed out to the car. As we were sitting in the recital, she and I happened to look down at my feet at the same time, and there I was in my slippers. It was the ’50s and I was MORTIFIED. So I looked at her, she looked at me and I said, to explain my odd shoes, “I have a pair of slippers exactly like these at home.”

Red we have a problem…sleep deprived are we? Turn go back home and take a sick day. If you are that out of it you need a day of rest.

Love those bunny slippers.

Poor Red. Been there with the brain on fritz. Usually only when I’m sick, though. Would turn around and go back to bed.

You left your clothes too.

My thoughts exactly Red except I am working from home. Lol

Maybe you’ll wake up and realize this was just one of those bad dreams we’ve all had.
