I’ve recognized some familiar faces from church (whether from my congregation or my parents’ congregation; we attend the same building, but separate congregations) when they come by the grocery store wearing masks. There was even a time I almost barely recognized a stepsister in a mask there.

My friends tell me the mask is an improvement. Encouraging me to continue even after we have a vaccine.

Transporting many wearing masks somewhat unwillingly, I remind them that other people can’t tell if they are smiling or sticking out their tongues at them! Usually gets a giggle ;-)

I learned the hard way (shortly after having enchiladas for lunch) that it’s a good idea to remove the mask if you have to let out a belch…

It’s the shirt that gave him away.. Pluggers always dress up when they go to church and hardware stores with their best and only good shirt.
