I dunno. Seems reading only large print books would at least build up his arm muscles if not his brain. Some of those things make reading ebooks look a lot more practical.
Like some ladies at our books club. . .“I read a book a day”. . .come to find out it’s those throw-away romance novels. . .now, Agatha Christie. . .grin and a wink. . .

I turn 65 next month so far ( knock on wood ) all i have needed is reading glasses.
