Was George Orwell a white supremacist? Probably no more than any other Englishman when Britain had an empire.

What civil liberties is he referring to? The right to get a haircut, to not wear a mask?

Zack, where do you get your information from, PRAVDA? No, can’t be, that’s too conservative; must be MSNBC.

They can stand up for whatever they want to, as long as the hospital where my son works doesn’t have to risk his life to take care of them after they get themselves infected.

I do think it’s kind of odd that when a bunch of self-described patriots with guns storm their state capitol, scream in the faces of police officers while wearing no masks, and manage to violate lawful orders while trespassing at the same time, nobody gets arrested. But when another citizen sitting in his own car minding his own business protests his innocence, he gets choked to death by these same police.

Maybe someone can explain this dichotomy to me. I can spot one obvious difference, but I don’t want to be accused of having some type of “-ism”.

How about these examples: In Illinois six people can ride in a car to a lake without fear of getting COVID but if they get into a boat (out in the sunshine and fresh air) they can get COVID!500 people can gather at Walmart without fear of COVID but 100 gathering for church can get COVID!In California you can go to the beach if you are on the wet sand but not on the dry sand? Where’s the science in that — and tell me how one gets to the wet sand without first crossing the dry sand??Yes, we have to be wise and careful and thoughtful and not reckless – but for too many of our leaders are using this crisis as an excuse to violate the U.S. Constitution. They have no legal right to enforce these arbitrary mandates – and they’re not scientific either. A federal judge said it best: the Bill of Rights doesn’t end where the virus starts.
