It could be much worse, the RNC could be writing their racist, nationalist, and misogynistic beliefs into college plans. I mean teaching students empathy, acceptance, and love for their fellow man doesnât seem like a bad thing. Add in that many republicans openly reject science and I would much rather have the DNC creating the education plans.
My son and Daughter-in-law both teach at the college level. They know that way too many professors feel it is more important to indoctrinate than to educate.
I majored in poli-sci and minored in philosophy. No poli-sci professor/instructor in any class I took ever mentioned a preference for any political ideology or personal party identification.
The mention of the Christian âGodâ (not including in the comparative religion class I took), on the other hand, happened in my college classes two times: 1) a 100 level geology professor, and 2) the comparative religion philosophy prof.
Both expressed their personal belief in the God of the Bible while teaching a class I attended. The head of the dept of philosophy taught my comparative religion course.
Endless right wing knicker knotting over supposed âliberalâ university faculty indoctrination is part and parcel with right wing scare mongering about a supposed liberal âwar on Christmasâ: deliberate lies, repeated endlessly, with the hope of someday instigating imposition of right wing totalitarianism. Of the Christian theocracy variety, if possible.

Itâs sad to see such bias in an otherwise pretty good comic strip. A couple more like this one and I will drop this comic strip.

Give KIDS the factual information and they will come to their own conclusions. They are not stupid, just off times misguided.
