As the World Turns…remember it well. My cousin used to stand there and iron as she watched it. Asking her to miss “her show” in the days before VCRs and TiVo was like asking her to cut off her own right arm.
Depending on which direction you position the bed, you will have various other advantages through Feng Shui. For example, you can place your bed either facing East, South East, West, North West or South West for best results. West: When you face your bed west, you create the best conditions for a good night’s sleep.
Interesting. I don’t see anybody questioning what “in the same direction” means. Does it mean with your head toward the direction of travel, like when they carry people in an ambulance, or does it mean with you feet toward the direction of travel, so that when you sit up you’re facing the direction you’re traveling?
Many years ago my now ex-brother in law opined that for a good night’s sleep you had to “sleep with the tub”, IOW, align your body in the same direction as the bath tub is aligned. Our current house has 2 tubs, and my bed is at a right angle with one and a 45 degree angle with the other. We also have 2 showers, and since I don’t sleep standing up, I don’t sleep with them either. At least I’m not sleeping with the fishes.

Me, too, Snoop. I go to sleep on my side facing an eastern window and turn over when the sun starts rising.

As long as we’re talking about sleep directions, who sleeps with their feet to the wall?

Ah, the coriolis effect.
I wonder if Snoopy would be able to sleep in the other direction if he lived in Australia?

Will Snoopy have to turn around if he goes to sleep in Australia?

I find it works best to align my head with the pillows on the bed.

At least we know why Snoopy sleeps the way he does in part.

Not sure what you mean by “facing”. I sleep with my head pointing East and my feet pointing West if that’s what you mean.
