As if this was the first time they funded something without knowing what the money was for?

This applies to most of the world’s governments. It’s not that the people who are in government are idiots, but that they are also a danger to their voters. The Covid-19 crisis has shown this.

On the QT he was told to back off as it was super top secret. Even after he became Vice President He still stayed in the dark. It was only after he became President he was finally briefed on the Atomic Bomb.
