Obama administration officials emphasized that having a coordinated, unified national response was “paramount.” But the Trump administration ignored the playbook Instead, spending weeks downplaying the virus, which they knew about in late December, spouting rampant misinformation and contradicting their own medical and scientific advisors. Even as he began to acknowledge the reality of the pandemic, Trump refused to take responsibility for the shortages of ventilators, PPE, and other medical supplies, stating “no one could have seen this coming.”Instead, the Trump administration wasted nearly two months bolster the federal stockpile of critically needed supplies and equipment. China did exactly what trump did, reflexively deny there was any problem. The difference is that China had less information at hand, recognized their error and reported it to the WHO. Trump is still pretending there isn’t a problem.

Yes, exactly like that. Like the idea that the Chinese would be willing risk a sequel to the 1919 Influenza pandemic (and taking a bite out of their own population and productivity in the process) just to screw over America.

The hatred in this country is so thick it could be cut with a butter knife. And all driven by the extreme left and extreme right using the dark underbelly of instant communication, and the technology to create tremendous lies out of whole cloth.

It won’t end well, and the problem with that is that it will affect my children and grandchildren.

I’ll most likely be gone when the dust from this situation settles, so I won’t be affected.
