Well, Rodney, in dodge ball, there’s a chance the player will “dodge” the ball thrown at them and not get hurt.In jousting, the two knights HAVE to hit each other with their lances, thus increasing the chance of pain and bloodletting. For Shorty ( aka the king ), no pain truly IS no gain, so he OK’ed the more violent option.

Training for combat anticipates a number of fatalities along the way.

It helps that the Fink isn’t shaped like a lance.

Dodge ball is banned is because the people began throwing it at the fink.

Jousting is done professionally and the men take their chances for money. Dodge ball is just something so that the gym teacher can pick out the jocks from the flock. Bet on the jocks and invest in the targets.

Going by the way PC is headed, dodgeball may soon become Huggyball (instead of a ball to the head, you hug it instead)

Horses always have at least one hoof on the ground except when jumping. These horses are running, not jumping.

I hope those lances are 2 metres long!
