G.A. started as a urban neighborhood and then morphed into a more generic “community” and under Scancarelli a more southern setting. Andy Griffith’s show had respect for the characters inhabiting Mayberry, I truly wish Scancarelli showed the same respect for the citizens of the Alley. It may be time to bring on a story consultant.

Somebody (AKA Jim Scancarelli) give Slim a break. Slim should not always be played as a buffoon. I know there is more to Slim than simply an overweight dork. Jim, a great storyline would be to put Slim on a diet like much of the rest of America and you can come up with dozens of storylines that many of us could identify with.

If only the writing were as good as the art. What a waste.

The color shifting is strange (and I don’t think this is Mr. Scancarelli’s doing). The cabbie’s jacket and cap were green up until now. Still has the stogie, though.

Seems as though the only people who enter the strip are thieves…this guy, Upton Ogood, and the short dude who got the mailman fired.

You’d think that this family would learn to be cautious after three thefts in as many years…

susan, Joe Palooka was a very intelligent man. He was not portrayed as a punch-drunk fighter. You need a different metaphore.

Could’ve insisted that Chubby pay what was owed, and could have refused to go to dinner with a questionable stranger.

She’s not innocent in all this, though the magnitude of Slim’s denseness is breathtaking.

Bee, Bea…..Griffin, Griffith……Who cares? I like Don Nots. Like a square not, you know? And Jim (Goomer) Neighbors, of course. And Otis the barber. And Floyd the drunk. It all works out eventually.
