Pukescrolling. Reading what my “friends/classmates” write lately makes me want to upchuck. Never thought my classmates were that stupid. We were all educated at the same school with the same teachers. How can this be?

Get a laptop! Those tiny screens are upsetting enough.

Is it just me or does the whole strip look sunburned lately?

Doesn’t take long these days, especially this AM.

The only news published is bad news. It makes your own life look good by comparison. If there were good news and nothing else…nothing would be published. As Anne Murray sang “I wish there was a little good news today”.

Yet another day where Janis just has a worried expression on her face. I wonder if this is intentional, with Jimmy showing how this COVID stuff is wearing on her.

Janis is being a real pill lately. Arlo, cheer her up. Please. For the sake of humanity.

How is it that she’s the one on her phone all the time and she hasn’t heard that term? Chalk one up for Arlo!

Yes, Janis. He’s being “hip.” But I don’t think that’s what they call it now. And whatever they call it nowadays will only last about a month of days! 8^ (

Doomscrolling? That’s so fetch!

It depends on what you put on the feed. I have a number of national and foreign papers usually depressing, plus subjects that usually are upbeat. New scientific discoveries, astronomy… you need something to cheer you up after a dip in the dark. That’s the problem with news, only the bad things are of interest to people.

Every morning the first thing I do is check the news. Always disappointing, he’s still there.

I can never get through the comments on most comics because of the heated politics. So I guess Doomscrolling is pretty accurate. I skipped to the bottom to post this.

Mrs. Baker took my newsfeed away from me. I’m not allowed to be outraged anymore. But, I am allowed on GoComics. And, Playboy.com.
