My father and stepmother met online. My father and biological mother met in Brigham Young University at a family home evening (just that’s typically a hanging out with with friends for a spiritual lesson and then some games and fun).
A blind date wound up with me and a bud paired up with twin sisters who had names that began with “Z”.. I told Ma (also a “Z”) the next day and she grilled me about it all… turns out that I was dating a second cousin !! It all turned out well, though… we still keep in touch…
I met my spouse when I ran into a college friend the day I was moving into a new apartment. He said he would help. That afternoon he showed up with my later-to-be-spouse and dropped him off, explaining that he had a bad back and couldn’t lift anything.
Met mine at a high-school football game/brawl. Lil’ red-haired girl with outstanding-features slung a rock at me, so’s I went to discuss it with her. After a short-spell of kicks, gouges, an’ knuckles? I’d had about enough of HER-toughness!
Since she was wearin’ down fast, I slithered in behind her, an’ dragged her through the “gauntlet” to the parking area…where it eventually became quite-enjoyable for both of us!…and we agreed to settle it over a beer…MY-treat, of course!
She’s still red-haired, tho’ with a bit of “natural”-highlighting, and still has quite those same-outstanding features, as a youngster of 59-“seasons”, 35-of ‘em ’rasslin’ with me….! ☺
Hubby and I worked together. I was invited to a wedding, and the fellow I was dating at the time couldn’t get off that day, so I asked Hubby-to-be what he’d do for a free meal. I went out with the other guy one more time – I thought it was tacky to break up over the phone – and that was that. We’ll be married 46 years come November.

Does Julianna Back actually think that non-pluggers only marry people they’ve met online? I’m concerned.

Met my wife on a blind date set up by a mutual acquaintance of ours. Things clicked right from the beginning. It was black and white, literally.

Weren’t spying on her by any chance? That tree was next to the old swimming hole and was a favorite spot for the boys

Ok, this is the silliest one I have seen so far. Most young people do not meet their significant others online.
