Well doesn’t the last panel of Scratch sitting on a sofa with his feet up reading papers, show Scratch’s gentle side?

Sooo tired of Scratch. Wouldn’t miss him if he went back to his owners, once they’re over their “allergies”.

Scratch is getting as irritating as trump…they both have to go away

Check the litter box.

Do we really need Scratch as a character at all? Do we really need any of the animal characters besides Louie?

The sea monsters have been around longer than Scratch. Why not throw THEM a bone (so to speak), and let them eat the damned cat?

Not me, I think Scratch is the best character on this strip :)

Scratch doesn’t want to be gentle. But I think he could be one day. Chip can always rewrite his notes.
