The glow is sharing its warmth. How nice.

You can still be romantic.

Put your little paws back on Rose and ignore the squirrels.

nothing worse for a romantic evening than date crashers!

Never make plans.

I thought it was incredibly romantic when little critters showed up at my husband’s proposal. We didn’t have a fire, although I kind of wish we did…it was chilly that October afternoon in 1982. We were just huddled in the back of his Renault R5 with the hatch up, having a picnic next to a little river.

It’s okay, Jimbo, you may proceed: they don’t have cameras/cellphones and they can’t talk. . .

They’re the distraction while another squirrel circles behind to grab the goodies.

Looks like a chorus line; “Stop! In the name of Love…..”

What is this? Over the Hedge?

Nothing wrong with making it a double date.

Jimbo, “romanticism” is a purely subjective state. Your wife thinks they’re “cute” – this makes her happy. Surely you can build on that!

They believe in romance. Romance is a warm experience.

They look more like they are Hexing them.

The little creatures are not a distraction from the romantic evening. Enjoy the company.

Barbequed squirrel is actually pretty good.
