Tawi, still in her âQueen of the Pygmiesâ outfit, wishes they could have made a quick visit to the local Marshallâs before boarding the boat for the month-long boat to England.
Why is Monk saying, ââŠwe take care of Pomeroy so we can âinheritâ hisâŠâ to his buddy, who already knows this? In fact, I think Tarzan had already heard of the plot. Maybe thereâs something special in that booze theyâre tossing down.
One more thing (sorry, too personal?) Notice how the bad guys always smoked back then. When we were kids, our dad would take us to Saturday movies, where weâd watch Roy Rogers and other great cowboys, none of whom smoked, but the villains did. So, in our school in the inner city (Detroit), all the boys were smoking by the fifth grade, but my brother and I didnât. Our parents both smoked, but thanks to Roy Rogers, we never did.
Well, Jim, Iâm guessing Tawiâs outfit is going to cause quite the stir at the Captainâs table. Good luck with that. Or maybe you could just buy the poor girl an outfit not tailored by Pygmies. Whichever.

And tell her to get dressed in real clothes, you know, like what I wear.

Tarzan appears to be focusing quite a bit to only be âvaguelyâ overhearing and having âlittle concernâ.

Tarzan felt little concern, even though it was obvious that theyâd have to kill Pomeroy after robbing him. After all, heâd never even met Pomeroy.

Tarzan is quite the nosy parker.

Jim told Tarzan that he would no longer be able to rescue him. He advised him to buy a pair of pants and mind his own business.
