Sadly, the first thing it brought to my mind was the news story about the sad fate of the 500 baby chicks who met their doom due to the current ongoing sabotage of the postal service. (UPS and FedEx and similar services do not deliver to many, many rural areas.)
they’re everywhere; how does he get aroud the room without stepping on one. i’m surprised his family didn’t know….. they had to hear them all chirping.

Wallace’s Dad—Don’t ask. Just shut the door, walk away, and forget you ever saw anything.

Just tip toe away…it’s for the best. And never speak of this again.

Good move, Dad. You neither want to put clean laundry in that room, or make any sudden moves or loud sounds right now.

Coolest parents ever. Please don’t let Sterling in. I think it would be like throwing a feral bob cat into the room.

“The Birdman of Snug Harbor!” I guess Wallace at the top of a step ladder is the least of Dad’s concerns right now.

It’s Snug Habor, not Cornwall.
It’s Snug Harbor, not Bodega Bay.
Keep reminding yourself of that.

Dads have got to know when to hold em and when to fold em. He made the right choice. Let Mom handle this one.

Mom is not going to be happy when she sees that floor. She’ll have to get a jackhammer to clean it.
