Hot Rize has a plan I’m sure. Sam’s on to something! The bad guy has to caught. I wonder what she’ll do about the missing dope? Being short $22k is gonna have someone ticked off.
YES! It looks like somebody got the important note about coloring in today’s panel. Sam is noticing a major clue. His Years as a Flakey Biscuit Crumb are coming in handy. We also get to find out poor Earls full name.
I think Hot (may I call her “Hot”?) did take the rest of the powder with her, Gweedo. All the investigators found was a little bit that had somehow leaked out of one of the bags. At least, that’s how I interpreted it.
It’s not hard for powder to leak out of a bag that’s open.
Note: I’m involved in a delivery business, and on occasion have had to deliver powdered baking goods. Even in perfectly sealed bags it’s not uncommon for some of the contents to get into the vehicle. One of the worst I had to deal with was a load of Nutrasweet. That trailer contained powder that would try to choke you (it goes for the throat— really) for several weeks after that trip.
A John Russco. I’m in Italy! Just wondered if some new newspapers had begun to publish Dick Tracy after years of suspension of the strip. I want to know if there is an increase in the newspapers.
Carlo, terrible to say, but newspapers are declining here in the states. Internet has a lot to do with it. A shame. You can get most of the news on your computer. Some papers have a site, but charge to see the paper. Alas, the neighborhood paperboy is a thing of the past.
Hadn’t Gravel Gertie opend a bag and commented it looked different when Hot Rize arrived to reclaim it and replace it? So only a little is missing.Apparently an offensive post has been taken down and that’s fine with me. Freedom of speech has limits.

Was there an offensive post? I posted this morning and I see it disappeared. It wasn’t offensive, though. I just mentioned that newspapers are a definitely in decline, thanks to the web. Only a few make serious money.
Good poem, Wonder Warthog, and good questions. There was no obvious reason for Hot Rize to murder Earl. Maybe it was a combination of factors: she thought he was close to discovering the cocaine trafficking, and she’s naturally violent.

I am still getting used to the idea of today’s strip not just regurgitating the last six weeks.

Did today’s strip go out with a note about the coloring?

Another wonderful strip. The 2nd panel is great! The story is progressing well and with no holes in the script. Excellent!

I have a question, guys:It’s possible know if with the new creative team, some U.S. newspapers have begun to publish Dick Tracy after years?
Let me know. I’m curious. Thanks in advance.

About that important clue: looking back over the past few weeks, I don’t see a green strip on any of the cocaine bags…..
