It’s likely the greatest constitutional and political crisis in living memory will come to a head between November and January. The Orange Turd will never acknowledge his losing the election. He may not, despite the polls, thanks to Russian / conservative social media influence and rethugican voter suppression. However, expect him to whip up his MAGAts into a frenzy and simply dig his heels in. He would gladly foster a second Civil War in the streets to hold power, and the Rethugicans would approve. The damage to the constitutional rule of law, the peaceful transition of power, would be immense with over a third of the population refusing to acknowledge any other administration but the Orange Horror Clown’s. Dark and troubled days, indeed.

Hope they have a lot of available Prison cells in January 2021.

Wipe that smug look off Trumpie the Clown’s face but voting as early as your state allows. Demand that your state does not interfere with voting in any way whatsoever, voter rights and Church groups need to help with people to get to early voting places !!!

Mr. Trump has requested an absentee ballot which must be mailed in. Which is, of course, his privilege. Privilege derives from the Latin privus (“private”) and lex (“law”). The Romans had the concept of privilegium (a bill or law affecting an individual). The rest of us are told that mail-in ballots are suspect: so suspect, that Mr. Trump is attacking the US Postal Service’s funding to prevent wide-spread mail-in voting. He claims wide-spread voter fraud from mail-in voting. I see a common contradiction here, that there is one law for Donald J. Trump, a privilegium if you will. And he’s working very hard to make very sure that “private law” shall remain private.

The Republicans are dismantling the Post Office to steal this election. What are the Democrats doing to stop it? Will it be the feared “strongly worded letter”? Or maybe they will wag their fingers and frown in unison…. Democrats are Republican lite. We need to move AWAY from the right not closer to them like Democrats have been doing for decades.

Normally I’d say just another day of Trumps American carnage, but now I’m convinced he’ll do anything to hold onto power…ANYTHING. If corrupting the election doesn’t work maybe starting a war will…what has he got to lose?
