    And since it was an establishment named “La Posh” it was an appropriate order.

    A more appropriate response, given the apparent upscale nature of the establishment, would have been “Ale, Stout, Porter.”

    At least, that should be a pretty easy order to deliver. :-)

    Andy is just tiring me out. Being a violent alcoholic just isn’t funny any more.

    There a study back in 60s that determined that beer has the same nutritional value as a pork chop, so Andy got his nutrition with a 3 course meal.

    @Afficionado

    On my 18th Birthday (legal drinking age in the UK) I drank some Rosé wine which, admittedly was rather gorgeous.

    But still, I prefer soft, fizzy drinks. They don’t give you a banging headache after too much. Just a lot of gas.

    My cousin had a dog that ran away too. He was heartbroken.

    Our favourite day of the week tomorrow, pal. So stay safe, stay well and stay happy.

    Sounds just like my ex. We never went out to dinner anywhere that did not have beer!

    Perhaps, given the hoity toity nature of that restaurant, Andy should have asked for wine.

    In England, “Posh” is also often a derogatory term for male homosexuals. I can’t see Andy visiting a restaurant or pub called La Posh.
