My mom always made rutabaga for Thanksgiving, boiled and then mashed with a bit of butter, salt, and pepper. I never really much liked it but when I started cooking for my own Thanksgiving I always made some.
Sorry, but in Western Oregon we’re wearing them because the air will choke you. It’s scary, and it’s the pits, and then there are the poor folks who now have no home. Pray for us!

My family pinches their noses when I take out my Kimchi to eat. They hate the smell of it. lol
