Finally!

My favorite House Hunters is when the new home owners have a party at the end and their realtor is the only one who shows up.

I think she may be the root of their social issues.

Betty’s correct. Eventually we learn that our problems can’t be solved with a new lipstick, a new haircut, or even a new pair of jeans.

I’m always amazed at how many people on these shows plan house purchases or renovations around hypothetical parties or overnight guests.

One thing our current house and the previous one have in common, a Great Room for entertaining. No Orphan’s Thanksgiving this year though.

I think the virus is at the epicenter of these “social issues”. At least in most places…except Sturgess.

I found that updating the backyard patio is a more effective and cost efficient.

Women may think interior redesign influences social interaction. Every time someone comes over to our house my wife shows them our remodeled bathroom, but that also may be why they don’t return.

Bub: Open mouth. Insert foot. Open wallet. Remove cash… ☺

you could be opening up a whole pandora’s box…people coming over unexpectedly / uninvited, loosing your quiet home life.

Charisma: you either have it or you don’t. No amount of external change will give you more, but a very large infusion of cash helps anyone seem more attractive.

If I enjoy someone’s company, the size of their house doesn’t matter. During the weekend we avoided indoor gatherings and enjoyed the company of people around picnic tables and camp fires. Granted, the family now considers our house the Christmas gathering place. Silly to have to heat, cool and clean extra space for a few days of visitors, though.
