’Carlton Ernest Fisk (born December 26, 1947),1 nicknamed “Pudge” and “The Commander”, is an American former professional baseball player. ’ Home run hitter for Boston.
Carlton Fisk is of my era. To my knowledge he is still alive at 73. At high school in NH, he played both baseball and basketball. At 6’2” in 1963 he scored 48 pts and 38 rebounds in a state playoff and aroused the internet of the NBA Celtics. He got a scholarship to the U of NH for basketball but played baseball as well. Drafted by the Red Sox, he was Rookie of the Year in the AL in 1973. He is in the Red Sox HOF and the National HOF (2000). Nicknamed “Pudge” in childhood because of a chubby build, he grew out of it but not the nickname.

OMG, he did it! I don’t think it’s Filthy Frazier, but it is definitely someone who knows Bucky.

Whatever, Carlton is not a fan of Bucky Katt! Those flattened snakes on the floor make me worried…

Looks like Bucky’s got an appointment with a foul pole in his future. “Stay in! STAY IN!!!”

That is a good prank that Satchel pulled. If there was another frame, Satchel would be laughing as Bucky gets his just desserts.

Every Sox fan that’s old enough remembers Pudge Fisk‘s Game Six walk off home run in extra innings vs the Reds in the ‘75 World Series.

If that’s a game used Fisk bat, I’d hate to see it used for any other purposes, no matter what the circumstances.
