When you get to the end, thinking she’s watching a “soap”, and then go back and read it again . . . it certainly forms an image in your mind. Not a nice one!
I have a nephew who refuses to get caught up in daily politics. He is a staunch liberal who always votes blue, but is happy living his life not paying close attention to the everyday insanity. I envy him.
I remember when a co-worker got all excited that her choice was going to be president. I told her “6 months and everyone won’t be so happy”. It took 6 weeks and she started to have her doubts. This happens every time. The new guy is great until they aren’t great anymore.
I consider myself lucky. I voted for someone twice and they got in both times. I was always grateful for what they accomplished. I never made them out to be a god, I remembered that they were human and can only do so much. Even with that, I was grateful for all that they accomplished. I respected them and their family completely when I voted for them and still do. Not everyone can have that. I will always cherish that. Namaste

Politics is “reality TV” with many secret scripts and hidden directors.

No one would write a soap opera as bad as this year.
