Maybe they don’t have a specific time zone, but apparently they do have an official time.

The South Pole is UTC+12. The North Pole is UTC. UTC is the successor to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

I get that there wouldn’t be a specific time zone at the South Pole since really, all of those longitude lines that make our time zones all meet right there at the pole. But wouldn’t it be the same thing at the North Pole?
