Car payments, insurance payments, purchasing fuel… Woo Hoo!

When you’re young, you can either have a car or have money.

Joyfully we gather to eat

What matters not, ’tis still a treat.

Not quite a “Thema & Louise” scenario, is it?

I have a car and I don’t get all that good stuff. I also have a wife who believes in exercise and eating healthy. I guess this is why they say married men live longer. Or does it just seem longer? (Dang it! I’ll be thinking of “big bowls of softserve ice cream” the rest of the day.)

At their age it should be easy to get a car. just go to wherever they are parked, find an unlocked car and either hot wire it or find the hidden spare key, and they are good to go. The rest of the stuff they want costs money and will be harder to get.

Trout, it looks like you have popcorn right there within arm’s reach… oh wait, it isn’t within arm’s reach, uh oh… ☺

Well, Trout, I was with you right up to “Raisinettes”; why would anyone waste good (or even bad) chocolate by putting it on rabbit turds?

The popcorn bowl mysteriously moves, all on its own, closer to Agnes in each panel. Trout is left with her dreams while Agnes gets the corn.
