One of my wife’s family’s dachshunds was supposed to chew her bones in the garage, not the house. One day she brought three in in her mouth and looked at my m-i-l. “No.” Gretchy set one of them down. “No.” Another one. “No.”
That’s the “nobody loves me, nobody feeds me” look! I work at a bank and I get that look all the time at the drive-up window. Every dog that shows up knows what’s coming.

Dogs can’t tell the difference between a tiny bit and a whole big chunk. They want more no matter what you give. Kind of like donating to any cause.
