I’d like some apple cider (without the wassail).

I have a basket of over a dozen different teas. I enjoy Hot Lemonade. I don’t know how many recipes I have for Hot Coco. But I will admit… I just bought two bottles of Apple to cook up and enjoy! Now all I need is a bit of Cardamom and I am set for the winter.

I go through a lot of cold cider and rum. Lots of potassium that clears out a fair amount of sodium in those with hypertension.

Nothing ruins apple cider like heating it up.

Took a minute to remember cider isn’t an alcoholic drink in USA (what we’d normally call cider is hard cider in USA).

So that’s where our fall weather went, Muncie, Indiana. (I believe that’s where Jon and Garfield live.) Maybe I should move there.

The smell of apples makes me nauseous; heated apples, more so. And I LOVE autumn.

An occassional coffee with Kahlua is how Mother apologizes to me.

Slowly warm apple cider in a pot on the stove, add cinnamon, nutmeg and a $#!@% of Captain Morgan’s! Enjoy!

I actually love apple cider. Almost every year, my family and I would go down to some apple squeezing parties (not this year, obviously, because of the pandemic) held by some friends, and a lot of us would take part in placing apples in apple grinders, and once that’s over, once the juice is extracted from the chopped-up pieces of apple, the juice is then poured in various jugs for later consumption, or just to be turned into good old apple cider.

Hard Cider… Man’s answer to Mother Nature’s apology… ☺

For an English person who likes to drink cider, what Americans serve as cider is a nasty shock! US “bar cider” = UK “cider”, US “cider” = UK “Apple Juice”.

Didn’t Garfield do the “say the beverage that is in the mug and taking a drink of it and then say a statement about Mother Nature” routine last year, but it’s about eggnog? (Garfield’s actually thinking but he’s taking it as a form of saying)
