I guess Farmer Brown’s daughter was attempting to get the interest of Anyone else! (Grin!)

He’s not happy. But the type of letter he received sure made me smile!

I had a friend who used to work at the local Port-a-Potty Co. It seems that one afternoon his boss gave him a Dear John Letter. So that is how he lost his Honey-Bucket.

Oh dear!

No more plowing.

I recall this “John Deere letter” from an old Farside cartoon. I Wonder if the authors lifted it or just reinvented the wheel.

Good thing it wasn’t a Kubota letter, those things hurt.

Roz’s outfit was bought at a John Deere outlet.

I thought that Gary Brookins had completely retired from the strip, but it appears that he’s “kind of” gone the way of Bill Amend (“Fox Trot”) and Garry Trudeau (“Doonesbury”) — doing brand-new Sunday strips only. The difference here is, daily strips are still being produced, with Ben Lansing replacing Gary.

Or are these simply Sunday strips that Gary did before retirement?

Is it true what they say about the farmer’s daughter?

Shouldn’t that be Farmer Greene’s daughter?
