Annie looks confused, just how much liquid are we talking about? Did they just pour it in the freezer? What are they going to do with it?

Today is:

National Taco Day

National Vodka Day

National Cinnamon Day. Now there’s one I like!

National Golf Lover’s Day. I’ve never played regular golf, but I love mini golf. Does that count?

National Goe Day. I had to look this one up. Here is part of what it said: “National GOE Day – Growth. Overcome. Empower. The Sunday of the first full weekend in October encourages us to support safe spaces for healing and connection for those who have been victimized by abuse and trauma. The day focuses on healing, recovery and providing resources that support overcoming these overwhelming obstacles in life.”

Outrageous! The heavens have a lot to answer for!

Those two should have drips coming off them, I’m sure they weren’t back long enough yet for Annie to apply the loving towel of dryness to their sorry hides.

Soggy kitties are unhappy kitties.

That’s a whole different look for them! I’m heading out to the Chuckwalla Mountains this morning to meet with a few of Craig’s friends from Indiana. Terrible timing, it’s 100 down there and the old miner’s cabin I stay in has no electricity or running water. But we need to scatter ashes in the desert he loved so much. 8 hour drive, and I’ll head back Tuesday. Hope I have the stamina.

Well, I guess I was wrong – they do have the sense to come in out of the rain, eventually.

This has nothing to do with TC but I have to ask – are most men clueless when it comes to changes in wives or girlfriends?On Wed, I had my hair color changed from light brown/gold streaks to dark red/auburn streaks. Yesterday, I finally asked Brad if he noticed anything different about me. I had my hair cut. No, I did not. He just stared and came up with nothing.I had to show him a picture of my last color. It’s like night and day.

There’s nothing more bitter than soggy hubris.

How dare it rain on those two. The cheek of it. :D

Who will stop the rain? Probably not these two drips! They’re two busy having that rainy day feeling again. On another note, saw a nuthatch, a raven, and a dragonfly while out walking today. I also saw a wren outside.
