In 2014, a co-worker of mine was going to Belmont. Everyone knew California Chrome was going to complete the Triple Crown. However, I told him firmly to bet on the lowest-odds horse. I told him I was very serious. Well, the lowest-odds horse pulled the upset, my co-worker did not bet on him, and then was angry at me for some odd reason.
