Garfield used to hate scales but was very good at getting Revenge. How long has it been since there has been a Scale Reference?

Every time I walk up to a scale… I tell it to lie to me! The bad news… I don’t think it does!

If you don’t like what scale has to say then lose lose some weight lard bottom

Scales cant talk… Some do, but some doesn’t.

Now why would a really narcissistic cat like Garfield care about his weight? He takes one look in the mirror and instantly spots his belly, his best attribute.

I would think that the scale would be in too much pain to talk.

If Garfield is supposed to be fat, then he should actually be drawn fat. Looking at the above strip, I’m not seeing a fat cat at all. Garfield’s body is smaller than his head and a good deal smaller than his feet. Garfield was conspicuously obese in 1978, but certainly not now.

It’s the Snickers that cause the weight problem.
